Corrosion Inhibitor Intensifier ACI-2

CORROSION INHIBITOR ACI-2

High temperature acid corrosion inhibitor intensifier

DESCRIPTION

ACI-2 is an antimony compound that is used as an inhibitor intensifier based acid corrosion inhibitors at high temperatures.

ACI-2 , by itself, should never be used to inhibit acid. It is not a stand-alone acid corrosion inhibitor.

ACI-2 is used for treatment at the bottom in high pressure and high temperature of oil wells and others industries.

APPLICATION

ACI-2 lowers corrosion rates dramatically at high temperatures when used with acid inhibitors allowing increased contact time between the acid and exposed steel Reductions in corrosion weight loss can be in the range of 40 to 99%.

ACI-2 is used with ACI-1 to reduce corrosion rates at temperatures of 150oC and higher.

ACI-2 may be used with HCL, HCL-HF and HCL-HF - acetic acid. It also can be used with pureorganic acids.
