DCP 208 is used as primary clay swelling inhibitor and shale stabilizer in the polymer drilling fluids systems.

Recommended treatment

DCP 208 is normally used in concentration around 3 – 4% by volume of the liquid phase. The concentration is monitored and maintained at the optimum level.
