DEFOAMER D-11 is a highly silicone based defoamer for usein both fresh and salt water fluids.
APPLICATION
DEFOAMER D-11 controls froth and foam in dispersed and non-dispersed aqueous muds.
DEFOAMER D-11 also controls the foaming of polymeric fluids which are characterized by high yield point to plastic viscosity ratios. The high viscosity imparted by polymers can often result in considerable foaming, which DEFOAMER D-11 is effective in removing.
DEFOAMER D-11 remain effective after initial defoaming and continues to suppress foam generation over extended period of time.
RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
DEFOAMER D-11 is effective in concentrations of only 0.025 to 0.1% by weight in the aqueous foaming system.
DEFOAMER D-11 can be diluted in water before it is added to the system.
