TP- NUTLOS is a sized, gralunar nutshell
material usedto control loss of
circulation.
MICA is availablein either fine, medium and coarse grades.
Application
TP – NUTLOS is used alone or combination
with other material to combat loss of circulation. TP – NUTLOS can be added to
the mud thought the hoper, directly to the suction pit if sufficient agitation
is available. Treatment levels will depend on the severity of the loss – of –
circulation problem. The shaker screens should be bypassed while using the
medium and coarse graded, as the shaker screens will remove them from the mud
system.
Recommended treatment
A concentrations of 7.1 kg/m3
(2.5lb/bbl) of TP – NUTLOS is normally adequate for maintaining circulation
while drilling thief zone. TP – NUTLOS can also be used in combination with
other materials while preparing loss – of – circulation pills.
