TPD-1108 is a pour point depressant for crude oils and heavy fuel oils.TPD-1108 is a blend of wax-crystal modifiers and other polymers in hydrocarbon solvents.

Application
TPD-1108 is used in production and pipeline operations to improve flow properties and pumping ability of crude oils by decreasing the pour point, decreasing the yield stress, reducing the viscosity of oils. TPD-1108 also inhibits the formation of wax crystal lattices in crude oils.
Continuous wellhead or downhole injectionof TPD-1108 into crude oil is recommended.
For optimum performance, TPD-1108 should be injected upstream of the need for pour point reduction in the system that offers the highest system temperature.
Application rates will depend on the system and characteristics and content of the wax and can be determined by laboratory and field testing. The dosage of TPD-1108 for flow improvement in general ranges from 100 to 1500 ppm. Before starting the injection it is recommended to clean the tubing and/or pipeline with a paraffin remover.
Storage and handling
Keep away from heat, open flame and sources of ignition. Store in suitable labeled in a well-ventilated place. Use approved respirator if air contamination is above accepted level
Do not get in eyes, on skin, on clothing. Do not breathe or take internally. Have emergency equipment (for fires, spills or leaks).
